An Efficient Hybrid TLBO-PSO Approach for Congestion Management Employing Real Power Generation Rescheduling

In the present deregulated electricity market, power system congestion is main complication that an independent operator (ISO) faces on a regular basis. Transmission line trigger serious problems for smooth functioning in restructured causing increase cost of transmission hence affecting market efficiency. Thus, it utmost importance investigation various techniques order to relieve network. Generation rescheduling one most efficacious do away with problem congestion. For optimizing cost, this work suggests hybrid optimization based two effective algorithms viz Teaching learning-based (TLBO) algorithm and Particle swarm (PSO) algorithm. binding constraints, traditional penalty function technique incorporated. Modified IEEE 30-bus test modified 57-bus are used inspect usefulness suggested methodology.
